A tightly contested match between two sides at opposite ends of the table. Hove Lawns opened their account with a strong finish from Jack Judd within the first 5 minutes, closely followed by another one on one with the In pulse FC keeper which was put narrowly wide.

A floated ball over the top was then hammered home by an In Pulse striker after 15 minutes and although Hove Lawns were on top in the game, tensions were running high.

Ten minutes from the end of the first half, Brian Byrne came up trumps with a goal of the season contender. A thunderous volley from 25 yards found the bottom left hand corner and made the score 2-1.

Another ball over the top cost Hove their lead, a harsh bounce 3 yards out from goal fooled the Hove Lawns goal keeper and made the game two two.

After several clear cut chances for Hove Lawns and a miss of the season contender from Matt Phillips, 3 yards out from goal, Christian Fuller won the game for Hove with 8 minutes to go. A bullet header from 12 yards out, directly into the top left corner of the goal, beat the impressive In Pulse Goal keeper, who was also a Man of the Match contender.
