Ticehurst 2 vs 7 Insulators Reserves

It was certainly a good day for flying a kite as Insulators arrived in Ticehurst for their game and after a pitch inspection from the referee confirmed that the game would go ahead both teams focused on getting ready

The game kicked off and Insulators first attack of the game say James Philpott put Jacob Pingault through and there was no mistake with the finish. 1 – 0 to Insulators after 2 minutes

With the windy conditions there was going to be some long ball football at times and Ticehurst hit back immediately to equalise through Josh Lincoln, Insulators lead lasted less than a minute

The next 15 minutes were end to end and Ticehurst attacked in numbers but as Craig Smith in the Insulators goal begun to relish the sweeper keeper role, Insulators started to get more control in the game and were rewarded on 20 minutes as Jake Freeman this time turned provider as Jacob Pingault got his second goal of the game

Just before half time the evergreen Martin Ives played in felloe veteran James Philpott who duly finished and the game went into half time with Insulators leading 3 – 1

Insulators made a couple of changes to personnel and formation at half time introducing top scorer Harry Mascall and Speedy Gonzales (AKA Bailey Wright)

Insulators started the half strongly and a great move saw Cole Walsh deliver a delightful cross and Bailey Wright met with a powerful header, this was followed on 60 minutes with a right footed finish by Bailey Wright from a Harry Mascall through ball

75 minutes on the clock and Martin Page-Mitchell this time turned provider as Bailey completed his perfect hat trick with a low left footed finish beating the keeper

There was time for Bailey to get his fourth and Insulators seventh of the game with the assist this time going to Dan Green

Ticehurst kept going and got a late consolation goal from Ollie Marsh
