The encounter was a high-scoring affair, with Kam Abioye ultimately falling 4-6 after 90 minutes plus five minutes of extra time. Despite a spirited performance, the home side were unable to contain their opponents’ attacking threat.

Kam Abioye lined up in a 2-3-2 formation, deploying two central defenders, three midfielders across the right, centre, and left, and two forwards upfront. Saleem took his place in goal, tasked with organising the defence and making crucial saves. O.G Vendor and Sir Musa formed the central defensive partnership, expected to provide solidity and cover. The midfield trio consisted of Prof Idris on the right, Abdul Basit centrally, and Itz Kabir on the left, each responsible for linking defence and attack while supporting both phases of play. Up front, itz Bilal operated as the right forward with Abbey Vini on the left, charged with creating and converting chances. The substitutes bench included Hot Pepper, itz Bakayoko, Prof Jafar, Easy Abdul, Mendy Kasee, Abdul Rahman Terminator, big J small, Lil Messi, and Abdul Samad.

The match burst into life early as Itz Kabir opened the scoring in the 4th minute with a stunning long-range strike from outside the box, setting the tone for an open and attacking contest. Just four minutes later, itz Bilal doubled Kam Abioye’s lead with a solo effort, weaving past defenders to find the net. The home side looked confident and in control during this early phase.

However, the first substitution came in the 17th minute when Abbey Vini was replaced by Hot Pepper, signalling a tactical tweak. Shortly after, the Barca Kiddies received a yellow card in the 18th minute, indicating a physical edge to their play. The visitors pulled one back in the 23rd minute, reducing the deficit and injecting fresh urgency into the game.

Kam Abioye responded quickly with another substitution at 24 minutes, bringing on itz Bakayoko for Hot Pepper. The match remained intense as Sir Musa picked up a yellow card in the 27th minute, reflecting the competitive nature of the encounter. As the first half progressed, itz Bilal had a chance to extend the lead but fired wide in the 43rd minute.

Just before the break, Kam Abioye made further changes with Mendy Kasee replacing Itz Kabir at the 45th minute mark. Itz Bilal then scored his second goal of the match, assisted by itz Bakayoko, restoring a two-goal cushion right on the stroke of half time. The interval arrived with Kam Abioye leading 3-1.

The second half began with a flurry of substitutions as Easy Abdul replaced Prof Idris and Prof Jafar came on for Abdul Basit at 45 minutes. Saleem was also busy, making a crucial catch to deny the visitors immediately after the restart. Itz Bakayoko attempted a shot wide in the 48th minute, showing Kam Abioye’s intent to press forward.

Tactical adjustments continued when Abdul Rahman Terminator came on for O.G Vendor in the 50th minute. Despite these efforts, Barca Kiddies struck again in the 56th minute to narrow the gap. Kam Abioye made another substitution at 60 minutes, with big J small replacing itz Bakayoko.

The visitors capitalised on their momentum, scoring twice more in quick succession at 62 and 74 minutes, turning the game on its head. Kam Abioye sought to respond by introducing Lil Messi for itz Bilal in the 64th minute, aiming to rekindle their attacking spark.

Barca Kiddies extended their lead further with a goal in the 81st minute. Kam Abioye made a change immediately, bringing on Abdul Samad for big J small. Lil Messi came close to scoring late on, hitting the crossbar in the 88th minute, a moment of near glory for the home side.

In stoppage time, Prof Jafar converted a penalty in the 91st minute, giving Kam Abioye a glimmer of hope. However, Barca Kiddies sealed the win with a final goal in the 94th minute during extra time, concluding a thrilling 6-4 victory.

Goalkeeper Saleem was a standout performer, making vital saves throughout the match. Itz Kabir and itz Bilal impressed with their early goals and overall attacking contributions, while Prof Jafar’s late penalty highlighted his composure under pressure. Despite the loss, Kam Abioye showed resilience and attacking flair in a memorable friendly encounter.
