Away league match played on 20 March 2010.
Kicked off at 12:00 AM

Having turned up 30 minutes into the 1st half with Zep (who I must say was looking rather well as he had a bath earlier in the day) I was dismayed to hear that we were already 2-0 down.  As I missed the goals I can't comment on them, but lo and behold there were a few opinions on the side line  but now as I work for a national paper and think I am a journalist cannot disclose my sources or indeed their views.

Anyway back to what I saw, the sideline was more intriguing than the game.  Was that Paul Harvey or as he is now known Lord Lucan and beside him was Tony Newton our leading goal scorer.  We must have some top notch forwards brought in I thought if we can afford that luxury......Even better was Jeffrey Lovell's cravate that managed to turn up 10 minutes before him.

The second half kicked off with a change to the forward line as Chris took himself off and put Tony up front.  Within the first 5 minutes of kick off, Cheesey managed to slot the ball home and we were back in it.  A 3-2 victory was my prediction from the sideline after much berating from Noel I was resolute with the predition, surely this week our fortunes will change.

Within minutes of the Woodham kick off, we found ourselves with a corner and newboy Danny (Don't hit my nephew he is just a kid) Newton slotted the corner home from the corner spot a bizarre but very welcome equalizer.  Noel went quiet for a second as my predicition was on course.  In fact there was just as much entertainment coming from the sideline as Chris and Noel humdinnged brilliantly, best quote from memory was "you were shit......"

So after 15 minutes after the break, we were playing some really good football and looked to secure our first league victory in far too long.  But somehow we managed to lose momentum and then started to gift Woodham with some good chances which Vinny managed to keep us in it.  Johnny Mann came of after 75 minutes with calf problems and was replaced by Joe Mccabe who pushed up front.

As the game was drifting into a draw, in the dying embers of injury time we managed to get forward and a great cross found Joe in front of the goal with keeper beaten, this is it my 3-2 prediction was correct all Joe had to do was get his head, stomach, knee to it and we have secured 3 points.  Somehow the ball came of what must have been Joe's kneck or chin and he managed to hit the post.

So that was it referee blew his whistle and we blew another victory and secured our third draw in 3 games.... Needless to say everyone was sympathetic to Joe in the changing room afterwards.

We now find ourselves 7 points from safety and with an away game to Vichouse next week (who beat us 9-1 earlier in the season) the future can only be orange.

Note- Away next 2 weeks, JR Lovell will provide commentary if selected
