Hugely proud of all 16 of our diamonds this morning.

I was particularly impressed with our reaction to (undeservedly) going 3-2 down within a minute of the restart. Our boys could have crumbled, but they didn’t. And that's a big step for us ????

Fantastic performances all over the pitch. And we all know it could, and should, have been a bigger margin of victory.

It wasn't perfect, but many positives to take and as always, things to learn from and improve.

A special mention to Eddie who pulled off a fantastic save at the death ??

And congratulations to Chucks for reaching double figures for the season ????

And I want to mention the in-game decision we made....a decision we haven't made once since I took over 7 years ago.

Hopefully you all know me and Al well enough to know that was a very difficult decision for us and not one that we felt at all comfortable in making.

Most other coaches at our age group (and younger) make those same decisions every week and don't care or bat an eyelid.

But I'd like to think that we're not like most other teams (in many ways), and that's probably why it feels so alien and me and Al felt like we did (and do) about it.

But the decision was made a touch easier by the reaction and understanding of the boys involved.

And neither me or Al will forget that....EVER. And neither should every single one of their teammates.
