Home league match played on 24 November 2012.
Kicked off at 2:00 PM

Three goals in three minutes in the last quarter of the game proved too much for Mary Dendy as they collapsed6-2 to a vastly different Prestbury side than the one they faced three games ago.

The principle change was a welcome return upfront for talented striker Jake McGarry who showed his team what they had been missing by opening his accountin the opening minute with a trademark free kick from just outside Dendy’s penalty area.It was poor defending from the hosts as the ball went straight through the middle of their wall at waist height and crept into the corner of the net past the despairing dive of Matt Robinson.

Dendy too were welcoming their own striker back from injury and it was Kyle Pirrie who equalisedshorlty after.

On the half hour a long punt upfield from Prestbury keeper Alex Rottenbury sent new signing Dave Hancoxscampering clear down the left and his speculative cross come shot sailed over Robinson to give Prestbury the lead. Sixty seconds later it was 3-1 with Hancox again involved this time appearing down the right as his cross across the box found McGarry in acres of space and he gratefully side footed home fromfour yards . Dendy looked shell shocked. Whilst nobody could fault their committed tackling most notably from captain Paul Cronshaw , their midfield failed to get a grip of the game and too often possession went right back to Prestbury who looked much more composed on the ball.

The second half was damage limitation for Dendy but it was they who made the first break through , Kyle Pirrie getting his second of the game on sixty nine minutes as he delightfully chipped Rottenbury from the edge of the penalty area . Five minutes later however and the game was as good as over - a brace from McGarry which took his game tally to four secured the points which left Dendy a frustrated and beaten team. His first which completed his hat-trick was a fizzing cross shot low into the far corner, his second a tap in after an uncharacteristic error from keeper Matt Robinson who up until then had performed well.

Substitute Ben Gray added insult to injury as he added a sixth but a win for Prestbury was never really in doubt.
