Home league match played on 28 August 2012.
Kicked off at 6:30 PM

MIDDLETON COLTS STARTED THE NEW SEASON THE SAME WAY THEY ENDED LAST SEASON WITH DESTRUCTIVE 6-0 VICTORY. THE GAME STARTED WELL WITH COLTS PRESSING ALL OVER THE PITCH BUT ALKRINGTON WITH 9 MEN BEHIND THE BALL FROM THE GET GO IT WAS HARD FOR COLTS TO BREAK THEIR DEFENCE DOWN. BUT WITH STE CASS AND RYAN SPRAYING THE BALL TO EACH FLANK AND DANNY AND LEE STARTING TO GET THE UPPER HAND OVER THE ALKY FULL BACKS COLTS GOT THE GOAL AFTER SOME DETERMINED WORK FROM SMITH N DANNY THE BALL BROKE TO LEE HERBERT WHO DECIEVED EVERYONE AND I THINK HIMSELF TO SLOT THE BALL THRU THE EYE OF A NEEDLE TO MAKE COLTS GO 1-0 UP.

AFTER THE FIRST GOAL ALKRINGTON HEADS BASICALLY FELL OFF AND HAD NO ANSWER TO OUR CONSTANT ATTACK WITH MUNSON HAVING HIS OWN PERSONELL BATTLE WITH THE KEEPER AND WITH COLTS DEFENCE NOT REALLY BEING PUT TO TEST THEY PUSHED HIGHER UP THE PITCH AND AFTER STE CASS SHUDDA SCORED THE BALL FELL TO DANNY LEWIS WHO MET THE BALL ON A HALF VOLLEY WITH HIS LEFT 2-0 COLTS.

COLTS PRESSED AND PRESSED WHICH GAVE BRETT AND DAYMO THE EXCUSE TO PUSH A BIT OVERLAPPIN AND MAKING NUMEROUS CHANCES WHICH MUNSON N SMITH JUST COULDNT TAKE TO THEIR ADVANTAGE, AFTER A FEW DAFT CHALLENGES BY BOTH TEAMS THE GAME GOT A BIT SCRAPPY AND BITTY AND COLTS WERE HAPPY TO GO IN 2-0 UP AT HALF TIME(CUDDA BIN 6).

HALF-TIME

COLTS BEGAN THE 2ND HALF WITH A DIFFERENT FORMATION 3-4-3 AND THAT CHANGED THE WHOLE INTENT OF THE TEAM, COLTS STARTED TO MOVE THE BALL FRONT TO BACK SWEEPING THE BALL AROUND (AT TIMES TOO MUCH) AND THE BREAKING DOWN THE WINGS LEAVING THE ALKRINGTON DEFENCE FOR DEAD IF IT WASN'T  FOR THE KEEPER BLOCKING EVERYTHING THIS GAME COULD OF BIN 11,12,13-0 COLTS SOON ENOUGH GOT THE 3RD AFTER SOME QUICK TOUCH FOOTBALL SMITH LATCHED ONTO THE BALL AND FROM A VERY TIGHT ACUTE ANGLE SOMEHOW SLIPPED THE BALL THRU THE KEEPERS LEGS TO MAKE IT 3-0 COLTS.

COLTS JUST GREW N GREW IN CONFIDENCE AND STARTED TO MAKE ALKRINGTON LOOK LIKE A TEAM OF O.A.PS HA MOVING THE BALL AROUND LIKE THE WORLD BEATERS OF OLD STE CASS WANTING TO BE BECKHAM WITH HIS 40 YARD GLORY BALLS, BRETT FINKIN HE FUCKIN ALVES MORE OFFSIDES THAN THE STRIKERS, BAM FINKIN HES BECKENBAUER DEMANDING THE BEST FROM THE TEAM. BACK TO THE FOOTBALL AFTER COLTS PLAYED SOME DECENT FOOTBALL THEY WAS AWARDED A FREE-KICK WHICH LEE HERBERT TOOK AND LOBBED THE KEEPER WITH A TOP CROSS/SHOT TO MAKE IT 4-0. COUTS WAS BROUGHT ON FOM THE TIRELESS DANNY LEWIS WHO KEPT HIS CALM N TEMPER AND JUST SHOWS WHEN HE KEEPS HEAD ON THE GAME HES AS GOOD AS ANYONE. SOON AFTER MUNSON GOT IN ON THE ACT AFTER SCORING 6 IN A FRIENDLY AGAINST THIS TEAM IN PRE SEASON HE WASNT ON SONG UNTIL SMITH CUT BACK A BALL IN THE AREA AND MUNSON POUNCED TO MAKE IT 5 AND GAME OVER 5-0 COLTS.

AFTER THE 5TH COLTS EASED A LITTLE PLAYING LAZY N RELAXED FOOTBALL WITH COUTS BRINGING A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DIMENSION TO THE TEAM WHICH REALESES A FEW MORE ATTACKS WE SQUANDERD A FEW MORE CHANCES AT THE TOP WITH BRETT WANTIN TO SCORE AS PER USUAL AND SMITH TRYING TO GET HIS SECOND, RYAN PLAYED THE BALL THRU TO MUNSON WHO WAS ONE ON ONE DEFENDER AND CLEAN THRU ON GOAL BUT WAS RECKLESSLY SITHED DOWN ABOUT 35 YARDS FROM GOAL, COLTS WERE GIVEN A FREE KICK AND THE ALKRINGTON DEFENDER WAS ONLY BOOKED FOR A SYNICAL CHALLENGE ON MUNSON.MUNSON AND LEE STOOD OVER THE BALL AND LEE LEFT IT TO MUNSON N THE ONLY WAY ILL DESCRIBE THE FREE-KICK WAS RONALDO-ESK IT FLEW IN THE TOP CORNER EVEN THE BEST OF KEEPER WOULD NOT REACH IT. 6-0 COLTS TOP TEAM PERFORMANCE FROM COLTS LETS USE THE FIRST GAME AS A CATALYST FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON.

MAN OF THE MATCH LEE HERBERT DESERVED THIS AND JUST SHOWS LEE IS A FAR BETTER OUTLET ON THE LEFT SIDE AS HE IS A LOT MORE CREATIVE AND GETS TO CUT INSIDE.

WELL DONE BOYZ BIG IN ZE GAME
