Selsdon Junior Panthers 1 vs 1 Norbury Green FC

Norbury Green started the game slowly and struggled to find our rhythm in the opening stages\. As the half went on, we began to grow into the game, creating chances and starting to put Selsdon under more pressure\.

Just before half time, Selsdon took the lead through a **fluke deflection** that dropped perfectly for them\. It was a frustrating moment for the boys, and the goal understandably knocked our heads down going into the break\.

We came out for the second half a little sluggish, but we continued to create opportunities and looked capable of getting back into the game\. As the half went on, the tempo increased, and Norbury really started to turn it on\.

With the game entering its final stages, we were **brilliant**\. We pushed higher, moved the ball quicker and kept Selsdon pinned back\.

Then came the equaliser\.

**Artem** found the bottom corner inside the final ten minutes to make it **1–1**, and suddenly it was game on\.

From there, it was **non\-stop attack from Norbury**\. Selsdon could barely get out of their own half as we threw everything forward looking for the winner\.

In the final minute, **Adam** had the chance to complete the comeback, striking a shot that whistled just over the bar\.

The final whistle went **1–1**\.

A frustrating start, a disappointing goal to concede, but an excellent reaction from the boys\. The way we finished the game, completely dominating the final stages and refusing to settle for defeat, showed great character\.
