Away cup match played on 08 November 2014.
Kicked off at 11:30 AM

Slightly new formation this week with 3-3-1-1...with 3 midfielders
rather than 2 ( and 2 wide).

In front of shot stopping RE in goal, the defense of skipper JR,
OK and JF were excellent. The positions and lines they held were
far more in tune with where the play was. The starting midfield trio
of TH, RD and EH competed very well in the midfield with excellent passing
combinations.. EHE and JC played the forward roles. JC playing
Central Attacking Mid role and EHE striker... ON and GW then
came on to perform the striker and CAM role respectively..

Great freekick from JC and some strong shots by EHE were well
saved by the very impressive Sharks keeper..Panthers passing game with
extra player in midfield giving them majority possession but sharks well
organised. Sharks countered at speed but only got through once in
first half..

Nil nil at half time against Premier Sharks but Panthers looking
impressive.. However we expected a challenge into the wind in second
half..ON (mom) was having a super game in forward roles - passing
and taking on players. Making decisions early...EHE pace was a
concern for Sharks so they doubled up on him.. GW and JC both
asked to play in midfield. Both applied themselves well considering
these are not roles that they are used to..GW was sporting some
cool stitches in his head (from earlier in the week), yet he didn't
flinch..

In the end we were undone by an interception in defense that led to
sharks scoring. A second goal whilst chasing the game occurred.
Disappointing goal as we had chances to clear and then a player turned
his back when an easy clearance was on..note we didnt score any goals
which was the main issue!!

Other strong performance was RD, fantastic tackling in midfield
and defense as well as driving the team forward.. Seemed to have more
freedom.
