BN Dons Saturday 5 vs 2 Preston Manor Royals

A courageous effort against the only unbeaten team in our division and probably the League.

Considering they have over 100 players registered they will always be able to turn up with a squad of 15 fit players.

I have as much praise for the injured who turned up and put a kit on as I have for the Lads that put in a shift on the pitch.

Special note goes out to Adrian who showed immense courage for the entire game and is fast improving with his onfield abilities.

Also Tipu whose fitness is improving and is starting to show his unique talents on the ball.

Dom who was a rock at the back for us today. Never complains just gets the job done ( Our very own Harry Maguire)

Val for his two sublime finishes which were ‘top drawer’.

Ryan for a solid commanding display in goal ( Your knowledge and understanding of the game is goal dust).

And our Young Buck Harvey who consistent high energy performances our example to all who share the pitch with him.

My apologies for the disturbance at the end of the game.

Having watched the video back, I know why I approached Stiven in the aggressive manner in which I did and it was not the best way to deal with the situation.

I apologised to him in front of you all but I cannot work with someone with so little respect in my opinion to what you have and want to continue.

I know how much work Gill and the majority of you are putting in and my reaction was related directly to the sight of Gill having to calm someone down who should of shown that passion in the game.

Remarks to referees or players after a loss has no bearing on your efforts in a game and is only a deflection from yourself.

We move on and as I stated I will not be giving up on you.
