Range Rover Cobra Vets lined up in a 3-4-2 formation, deploying three defenders at the back with Shaun Pullen on the right, Tom Horse centrally, and Steve Haynes on the left. This defensive trio was tasked with maintaining solidity and providing a platform for the midfield. The midfield four featured Joe Spencer on the right wing, Georgi Ivanov and Nathan Pope occupying the central midfield roles, and Dom ? operating on the left flank. Up front, the two forwards were Jon Jo on the right and Dave Finch on the left, expected to spearhead the attack and capitalise on chances created. Elliott Barnes guarded the goal, providing a reliable last line of defence. On the bench, George Batten and Rhys Williams were named as substitutes, ready to influence the game if called upon.

Just ten minutes later, Dave Finch doubled the advantage, again set up by Joe Spencer, who was proving to be the creative fulcrum of the team. The first half closed with Range Rover Cobra Vets firmly in command, leading 2-1 despite the early scare.

At the interval, tactical changes were made with George Batten replacing Nathan Pope and Rhys Williams coming on for Georgi Ivanov. These substitutions aimed to refresh the midfield and maintain the team’s attacking impetus.
