Home league match played on 11 November 2012.
Kicked off at 10:30 AM

REAL DUNDONALD started this home match in a very lacklustre mood and performing in a far too complacent manner....REAL conceded two early goals inside 15 minutes...poor defending and a lack of communication allowed REAL to fall behind to two soft goals, it was almost as if REAL were still sleeping, Goalkeeper BEN RADFORD bravely saving more attempts at goal by MITCHAM'S lively start......... however, as usual, this only seemed too send REAL into 2nd, 3rd, 4th and then 5th gear in a quick response to the major early set-back....as the first half unfolded REAL continued to knock, knock and knock again at MITCHAM'S door with dominating possessional attacking football.... C. ALDERSON, HARVEY, AL-MAJALI  and GYLES bringing good saves out of MITCHAM'S Goalkeeper.... the vibrant HARVEY (working smartly with C. ALDERSON) constantly bringing width and penetration down the left side of the pitch...GYLES coming close on two occassions, one attempt hitting the upright after a swift clever passing team move, the other just wide after a marauding run and cross by the reliable, cunning HOPKINS....REAL finally scored in the 35th minute after tidy work from the deadly duo of GYLES and AL-MAJALI, GYLES assisting AL-MAJALI with a deft through ball which AL-MAJALI side-footed pass the despairing MITCHAM Goalkeeper......the second half saw the introduction of the influential STEPHEN YOUNG, YOUNG bringing a staunch, steady, calming and creative presence to the midfield with JAMES..... JAMES being his constant busy and lively self, chopping away and breaking up MITCHAM'S attacking threat.....almost immediately as play resumed GYLES was denied by good defending by MITCHAM...but a few minutes later he was ever sharp and alert (as usual) and onto a clever looping through ball by AL-MAJALI to make the score 2-2...GAME ON!!!!!!.......REAL continued to grow and show their physical and fitter prowess added with calm, patient and dominating passing football....playing with confidence, playing with a swagger from the back...HOPKINS, BLAKEBROUGH, WILLIAMS and C. ALDERSON spreading the ball from side to side with sheer confidence, which reassures the whole team and frightens any opposition.....the game was completely REAL'S for the taking...and when that moment came it was indeed a special moment...WILLIAMS always eager to dribble and run out of defence found the in-form AL-MAJALI with a beautiful 40 yard pass, AL-MAJALI'S first touch was exquisite, his second touch was to strike the ball from 25 yards with a half volley which was of the highest order..."pinpoint deadly precision with power" which the MITCHAM Goalkeeper could only watch go over his head like a bullet from a gun, the REAL bench enjoyed this goal, it was an exceptional goal from their number 9 FULLSTOP.... AL-MAJALI almost got his hat-trick moments later, (again the unselfish GYLES feeding him) shaving the post from an acute angle..........a short while later YOUNG eager to make a difference, won a free-kick on the edge of MITCHAM'S area which HARVEY took and brought about a smart, alert save from the MITCHAM Goalkeeper.....REAL were in 6th gear now completely out-thinking, out-playing and out-maneuvering MITCHAM with will, skill and imagination...the energetic GUADAGNO fighting, pressing and attacking MITCHAMS left-back....WILLIAMS went close with a header from a corner on the 70th minute......with 15 or so minutes left GYLES sealed what was always going to be a win for REAL DUNDONALD with a determined goal after good defensive work by MITCHAM...GYLES was put through on goal by man-of-the-match AL-MAJALI....GYLES twisted and turned his markers, shot at goal but was denied...but being the quickest to react buried the ball straight back in the net......although REAL started this game ever so slowly, their quality was never in any doubt....MITCHAM simply awoke the SLEEPING LION at his house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......Real Dundonald are unbeaten at HOME so far 2012-13...Long may this continue
