SOLID ! that’s the word that sums up this performance.

A very solid start from the Ruts with the back 4 looking very strong.

Ruts made a slow start and it was well into the 1st half before Jamie got on the end of an inch perfect pass from Calum to squeeze home the 1st. The 2nd goal also involved Calum who hit the post before Jamie made it number 2. Ciaran made a string of fine saves to keep a clean sheet and there were also some real do or die tackles from Alfie Tommy, Flynn & Calum not to mention solid performances from Axel & Asa. The game continued with Ruts pressing & it was Connor who found himself in the right place at the right time to stab home goal number 3. Oh and I nearly forgot Jamie got his 1st hat- trick of the season for a thoroughly deserved victory! This was not vintage Ruts, but nobody can ever criticise the spirit of this team.
