Battle Town Reserves 1 vs 5 SC Pass Move Arrows First

First away fixture of the season for Pass & Move and it was on the doorstep to Battle Town Reserves.

A shaky start for the Arrows and proved worse when Battle opened the score line from a free-kick set piece straight from the training ground.

It took a while for the Arrows to build their rhythm into the game but once Harley Discala found the back of the net for the second week running, it really set the mark for the rest of the game.

The arrows grew in confidence and 6 minutes later, wing back Discala found the net again with some wonderful footwork. Booth providing the assist for this one with a pin point pass.

Booth wanted one for himself this time. Davies and Wright linking up well down the right allowed Wright to find Booth’s feet inside the box who jinxed his way past two defenders and finished with his left nicely out of the keepers reach.

Battle started the better of the two teams in the second half but it didn’t take long for the Arrows to regain control. Wright was a fox in the box waiting to pounce from Harley’s back pass. The intelligence and experience from Jamison stepped over the ball to throw the defender leaving Wright to put it home. Not his cleanest strike we’ve seen, but the man scores goals.

To seal the game off, Paige came on to the pitch from his sin bin and used his agression positively this time to close down Battle’s defender and steal the ball. 1v1 with the defender, Paige dropped his shoulder, cut inside and fired in to the far corner. Great finish and another positive result for Saunters’ Pass & Move squad.
