Shotts Bon Accord AFC 2 vs 0 Tannochside United

Shotts 2nd competitive game saw them win 2:0 against a spirited Tannochside (in their first competitive game)

A good move saw Sammy Mclean have a shot from the right angle after a chipped through ball from Mikey Colqhoun, which the goalkeeper parried and Matty Weymss tapped in the rebound.

A few meaty tackles were put in from Shotts as the game became quite ohysical for a 15 minute spell but no cards were branded and the ref handled it well.

Shotts should have extended the lead when a Sammy McLean cut back fell to Michael Foy who put it passed the near post from 10 yards, he looked to have been impeded by the left back just before he got his shot away but teh ref gave a goal kick. Lynch had a few chances but his touch let him down a few times. and the first half finished 1:0 to the home side

Duffy had to leave at half time and was replaced by Ferguson who moved to Left mid and Mick Foy went upfront.

Shotts scored a 2nd when good feet from Matty Weymss got him passed 4 Tannochside players and he then cut the ball across for Sammy McLean to score his first goal for the club.

A well organised performance and a 2nd clean sheet in a row
