St Mary cray Athletic 2 vs 6 teviot blue

So after possibly our worst performance since the boys have been Playing together we had to try and pick ourselves up for a very tough game against a very strong Teviot side.

It was apparent almost instantly that this game would end with a convincing win for the opponents with them scoring within the first minute.

Teviot continued to dominate from start to finish, two highlights for SMC being the wonderful goals from Tony & Olion.

Tony’s goal coming from a corner with James putting In a pinpoint cross for Tony to volley home into the bottom right corner.

Olion’s goal was equally impressive as he was put though with half of the pitch to run into, he dribbled toward the oppositions goal with the defenders closing in Olion smashed the ball onto the underside of the bar Ricocheting onto the post and just over the line and back out,

After a brief consultation with VAR (Teviots GK) the goal was confirmed.

Definitely a Sunday to forget for SMC, although the play could have been better there were still four standout performers for the day well done to
