League game at Forthbank on Saturday as we faced Carbrain for the first time in over a year due to quirks of league format. The lads are slowly getting back to their best with improved performances all over the pitch - good timing with the crucial league run-in ahead.
Leo opened the scoring early on after nice play and an assist from Jamie L making his debut. Tyler then added an excellent 2nd driving into the box on right hand side before finishing well. Our third goal was possibly the pick of the bunch - Tyler and Jamie exchanging a series of give and go's before Jamie slotted his first goal for the team.
Into the second half and it took us a wee while to find our fluidity again after 3 changes. Emmanuel made it 4 on the 65th minute after a great reverse ball from Tyler. Jamie grabbed his 2nd after great work from Robbie on the right. And Adam completed the scoring late on after another assist from Robbie on the right.
Carbrain kept plugging away for 80minutes and continued to play their football - we just had more dangerous threats on the day.
MOTM - a tougher call this week with Angus, Eman, Tyler and Jamie all with excellent showings. However with 2 goals and an assist - plus terrific workrate and attitude Jamie L gets the award on his debut. Well done Jamie.
