Local derby to end the season against Milton who have been in some good form in closing months of season. Always a good competitive game and Saturday was no different. We made a great start inside 2mins - Lennox finding Max with a terrific diagonal ball to finish well. Rest of first half was pretty even with both teams working hard.

Second half we made a couple of tweaks at halftime that allowed us to play out better and started to control the game. Dan made it 2-0 from a Tyler assist - common combination across the season. Before Dan got his 2nd from an Angus assist to make it 3-0.

Milton pulled one back to keep them interested before Jamie completed the scoring with a great header from a Robbie cross.

Last competitive games with us for Tyler, Adam, Robbie and Leo. Will put out a separate post to update and thank the lads properly in due course.

MOTM - some excellent performances in this one but with an almost faultless display at the back the award today goes to Ross Mellor. Great reading of the game, calmness in tight areas and played on front foot all day not giving the Milton forwards a moment.
