2nd game of our league cup group saw another tough game with the first Stirling derby of the season. Games versus Milton are always hotly contested and this was no different. The boys were excellent in the first half - goals from Max and a cracking 30yrd strike from Lennox saw us 2-0 up after 20mins. Only disappointment in first half was we should have scored a few more.

2nd half we again started well - Jamie having his one on one saved after good work making the chance, before Lennox smashed one off the inside of post. We then lost a poor goal from a corner which made for a nervy second half. One good save from Jamie apart we did restrict Milton to few clear cut chances but all in all a much more competitive half of football. Dan finally put the game to bed with a late header.

MOTM - again a few contenders. Max was excellent first half driving us forward from midfield, and Ellis with another composed showing at the back. However across the 90mins Ross and Lennox take the joint award this week.

Ross is in imperious form at the back, interceptions and reading of the game superb all night - and Lennox really dictated the play for large parts before tiring slightly - and a fantastic second goal, started by him winning ball back in own half.

Next up a tough away trip to Rossvale
