Rossvale 0 - Albion 0 (5-4 Albion on pens) Another of the toughest trips to make in Central A League as we visited Rossvale on Saturday morning. Our hosts will be up there contesting all silverware this season and always a tough place to travel.

We started a little slowly and Rossvale had the better of the opening 15/20mins although we restricted them on any real goalscoring opportunities. Albion then took control of the rest of the 2nd half as we stepped up our press and began to get the ball down and build better from back. Angus and Daniel both with excellent opportunities in this spell.

Halftime 0-0. Into the 2nd half and Rossvale again upped their efforts and had the best of the second half. We looked like we tired a little and were struggling to play through the press as well - maybe not surprising with 5 players playing in a bounce match with the 20s on Friday night. Cammy with a couple of good saves and the crossbar kept our clean sheet intact. With the boys digging in well after Callum was shown a red card with 15mins left. Onto pens and the boys scored all 5 - Aaron, Kai (with a cracker), Dan, Emmanuel and Kyle. Cammy saved one of Rossvale's to give us the extra point. All to play for with final game at home versus Lanarkshire next weekend. The winner of that tie guaranteed to top the group.
