Home league match played on 28 September 2008.
Kicked off at 12:00 AM

First off I would like to apologise for the lack of information in this match report as I was larging it up with Mickey and Mini Mouse in Paris

After a disappointing result last week against FC Boca, Stronstad looked to bounce back and get back to winning ways against a GB Utd team who also suffered their first league defeat last week against Star FC.

Stronstad took the lead after 29 minutes after Mark Betteridge went for a 50-50 ball with the GB Utd goalkeeper and as the ball rolled away Mark Betteridge got up and slotted the ball into the empty net to give Stronstad an early lead.

GB Utd pulled level after a corner was put to the far post and the GB Utd player rose to head home past Ian Privett to draw level (where was the marking guys?)

2 Minutes later Stronstad scored a 2nd goal as good work down the wing from Dan Moore saw him swing the ball to the far post and James Clarke headed home from close range to make the score 2-1.

After 68 minutes it was 2-2 as a goal mouth scramble saw the ball fall to the first goal scorer for GB Utd who powered the ball home from close range to make the score 2-2.

Both keepers then made some great saves to keep the scores level but right at the end of the game midfielder Rod Robertson hit a low drive which beat the GB Utd keeper at his near post to snatch the 3 points that Stronstad needed to win the game.

Full Time – Stronstad Utd 3 GB Utd 2
