Cambusdoon 0 vs 3 Talbot 2008 Golds

Golds were in Burn's country facing an away game to Cambusoon.

During the warm up it was easy to see that the warm weather conditions were going to be an issue for all the players especially with only 1 sub available.

After a defeat in the last meeting, the Golds were up for the rematch. The Golds started with some outstanding play, putting pressure on Cambusoon right from the start.

The Golds continued the pressure for the entire 1st half and giving us a good lead for going into the 2nd half.

The 2nd half seen some great defensive work from Ayden Kennedy & Douglas Schendal pushing the balls through to the midfielders and then pinpointing the striker.

The Golds dominated the play in both half's being first to the ball, putting in great challenges as well as outstanding pressing from striker Kaitlin Houston.

Best performance of the season from the Golds and great to see all the hard work at training paying off.

Special mention to goalkeeper Michael Mullen who returned to his first game after injury and keeping a clean sheet.
