Tiki Taka Dortmund welcomed Turton Tigers Orange to St James’s High School on 7 March 2026 for a league home match kicking off at 10:30am. Over 70 minutes plus added time, Dortmund produced a commanding 5-1 victory, emphatically outplaying their visitors.
Deploying a classic 4-3-3 formation, Tiki Taka Dortmund lined up with Kamsy Anajemba in goal, protected by a back four of Brajan Staszkowicz at right back, Archie Hunt and Lawrence Nwakamma as central defenders, and Nathen Platt at left back. The midfield trio consisted of Noah Rule on the right, Zac Leach centrally, and Zac Humphries-Deveney on the left. Up front, the attacking trio featured Sonic Leung on the right wing, Favour Ajumobi leading the line as striker, and Yasin Mohammed on the left wing. The substitutes bench included Andrew-Franz Nkemka, Nikita Velicka, Seka, Oscar Manders, Kain Woodside, and Finley Barlow.
From the outset, Dortmund sought to impose their style. Within the first few minutes, Favour Ajumobi attempted a long key pass in the opening minute, followed by a similar effort from Zac Humphries-Deveney at three minutes, though neither created a clear chance. Defensively, Nathen Platt was quick to intervene with a crucial tackle in the fourth minute, while goalkeeper Kamsy Anajemba made an early statement with a fingertip save over the bar at five minutes.
The Tigers pressed sporadically, but Dortmund’s defensive solidity was evident. Sonic Leung contributed defensively with a tackle at 11 minutes, and Anajemba comfortably caught a cross at 13 minutes. Archie Hunt cleared danger with a timely clearance in the 14 minute. A flurry of substitutions at 15 minutes saw Andrew-Franz Nkemka replace Favour Ajumobi, Nikita Velicka come on for Zac Humphries-Deveney, and Seka to take over from Nathen Platt, signalling tactical adjustments.

The Tigers’ solitary goal came right before half time in the 34th minute via an unfortunate own goal. The half-time whistle went at 35 minutes, with the score level at 1-1.
Early in the second half, Archie Hunt blocked a dangerous attempt at 36 minutes.
