Good Morning Boys,

What an enjoyable one that was yesterday!!

I am most pleased with the style and manner of our performance throughout. They're a very difficult side to play against because of their physical presence and directness but I thought we handled it so well.

For two and a half periods I thought we dominated the game, specifically the 3rd quarter. I thought we were moving it so well and when the game opened up, played through Sidney brilliantly. Teddy I thought you had a really strong game yesterday and was beating players at will, well done mate.

We spoke on yesterday how we deal with direct play and as a reminder for you, I want us to really try and stop it at source. That means pressing aggressively and effecting the player on the ball so they don't have time and space to get good contact. We will touch on a direct play session again soon.

Oscar, Avery and specifically Jude I thought you made good decisions in possession after that first quarter and looked a little more settled at the back. It's very difficult on such a bobbly pitch but I said after the first quarter, we will always continue to try and play regardless as it's vital for your development. We could easily start smashing it but in our opinion that does nothing for your development. The bright side, we have a 3G pitch to look forward to next season which massively suits us.

It's nice to win that game yesterday boys but we're way more pleased with the performance so well done to you all.

Teddy and Jude I thought you were stand outs yesterday! Good work boys. Oscar Tallack, fantastic moment at the end mate!!! Sid what a strike for your goal!
