Wigmore Wanderers FC 7 vs 0 Rochester First

? MATCH REPORT ? Wigmore Wanderers 7–0 Rochester First

Wigmore produced a superb performance at home on Sunday morning, cruising to a 7–0 win over Rochester First and keeping a clean sheet.

There was an early setback when Bailey picked up an injury after just four minutes. Liam came on in the fifth minute, and Wigmore soon found their rhythm. Jason opened the scoring in the 16th minute, before Henn doubled the lead in the 32nd, finishing inside the box. At half-time, Wigmore were in control at 2–0.

Jason struck again five minutes into the second half to make it 3–0. Henn added his second in the 55th minute, and Jack made it five just two minutes later. By this point, Rochester were having a tough morning—and Wigmore were showing no signs of taking their foot off the pedal.

Henn completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute, heading home Kai’s assist. Nathan then added a seventh in the 75th, also with a header, from Jack’s cross.

The clean sheet was built on an organised defensive display. Harvey marshalled the back line from start to finish, Nathan won plenty in the air, and Zach commanded his box well. Mottram kept things composed in midfield, while Harley led the side with another strong captain’s performance.

Henn was a constant threat throughout, scoring three and even getting a shot away with his left foot. We’ll assume that was deliberate.
