Worthing Dynamo U14 Black travelled to Aldingbourne Community Centre on 16 August 2026 for a 10:00pm kick-off against Barnham Trojans U14 Blue in a friendly away fixture. The match, played over 50 minutes plus added time, ended in a 1-1 stalemate with both sides sharing the spoils.
Worthing Dynamo lined up in a traditional 4-4-2 formation, aiming to balance defensive solidity with attacking intent. Jenson Blackman took his place between the sticks as goalkeeper, supported by a back four comprising Ellis Williams at right back, Elliott McCabe and Toby Killick as central defenders, and Finley Stevens on the left. The midfield featured Bailey Freshwater on the right flank, central duo Teddy Gill and Archie Parker-Muckle tasked with controlling the middle, and Toby Rennie operating on the left wing. Up front, Ethan Whattingham led the line on the right, partnered by Reuben Wickens-Steele on the left. Ben Riggott was named among the substitutes.
The game burst into life early on as Reuben Wickens-Steele put Worthing Dynamo ahead in the fourth minute, capitalising on an attacking opportunity to give his side an early advantage. This early goal set the tone for a competitive encounter, with Dynamo looking to maintain their lead through disciplined defending and midfield control.
At the 17th minute mark, Worthing Dynamo made the first substitution of the match with Ben Riggott replacing Ellis Williams at right back. This tactical change aimed to refresh the defensive line and maintain solidity against the Barnham Trojans’ advances.
