Academia TicoFoot,SA was founded in 2010 by a group of young people who were passionate about football. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Mozambican football pyramid, and in 2018 they won promotion to the Moçambola.
In their first season in the Moçambola, Academia TicoFoot,SA finished in 10th place. They have since finished in 7th place (2019) and 8th place (2020).
