History
AEK North was founded in 1996 by a group of Greek Cypriots who wanted to create a football club for the local community. The club initially played in local amateur leagues, but was promoted to the North West Counties Football League in 2006.
AEK North has never won a major trophy, but has been a regular contender in the North West Counties Football League. The club reached the final of the FA Vase in 2012, but lost to Whitby Town.
Stadium
AEK North plays its home games at the AEK North Stadium, which is located in the North Manchester suburb of Blackley. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
