AFC Witan was founded in 2018 by a group of friends who wanted to create a football team for adults who wanted to play at a competitive level but also have fun. The team started out in the Surrey Sunday League and quickly rose through the divisions. In 2022, the team joined the Surrey County League, where they currently play in Division One.
