Altin Genç Football Club is a Turkish amateur football club based in the city of Izmir. The club was founded in 1998 and currently competes in the Izmir 1. Amatör Küme, the fifth tier of Turkish football.
History
Altin Genç was founded in 1998 by a group of young people in the Izmir district of Karsiyaka. The club's name means "Golden Youth" in Turkish. Altin Genç quickly rose through the ranks of the Turkish amateur leagues, and in 2015, they were promoted to the Izmir 1. Amatör Küme. The club has since established itself as a top-flight amateur team in Izmir, and they have consistently challenged for promotion to the TFF 3. Lig.
Stadium
Altin Genç plays its home matches at the Karsiyaka Sehir Stadi, a 5,000-seater stadium in the Karsiyaka district of Izmir. The stadium was built in 1978 and is also home to the Karsiyaka S.K. football team.
Recent Season
Altin Genç had a successful season in 2022-23, finishing in third place in the Izmir 1. Amatör Küme. The club narrowly missed out on promotion to the TFF 3. Lig, but they are expected to be among the favorites to challenge for promotion again next season.
