History
Ankush Football Team was founded in 1995 by a group of football enthusiasts in Meerut. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Meerut Football League and won the championship in 1999.
The team has also competed in the Uttar Pradesh State Football League on several occasions. In 2012, Ankush Football Team reached the final of the Uttar Pradesh State Football League, but lost to Meerut City FC.
