More about the team
The club was founded in 1979 and entered the Downs league the same year. Originally known as B.E. Warmley, it became K.E.Warmley when Kennametal took over Eriksons. The Ashley name came into being in 1996 when the then Club Secretary walked into the Ashley Arms and persuaded the landlady to buy us a new kit.
The team had early success, reaching the All Saints Cup Final in 1981 & 1982. We lost the first 4-1 to Knowle Utd but returned a year later to beat Clifton St Vincents 3-1. Since then the club beat Newco Utd 1-0 in 1999. [More details]
