History
Austin Diribe FC was founded in 1970 by a group of friends who were passionate about football. The club's name is a tribute to Austin Diribe, a Nigerian footballer who played for the national team in the 1960s.
The club's first home ground was the Agege Stadium in Lagos. In 1975, the club moved to its current home ground, the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Austin Diribe FC has won the Nigeria National League on two occasions, in 1980 and 1990. The club has also won the Nigeria FA Cup on one occasion, in 1981.
