The team currently plays in Division 6 of the Birmingham & District Football League. They have won the league championship twice, in 2011-12 and 2016-17.
History
Birmingham Citadel Football Club was founded in 1999 by members of the Birmingham Citadel Salvation Army church. The team was originally formed to provide a way for young people from the church to get involved in football.
The team quickly gained popularity and began to attract players from outside the church. In 2007, the team joined the Birmingham & District Football League.
Birmingham Citadel Football Club has enjoyed a great deal of success in recent years. They have won the league championship twice, in 2011-12 and 2016-17.

Birmingham Citadel Football Club is currently in their 24th season. The team is currently in Division 6 of the Birmingham & District Football League.
