Kerala Blasters FC

Kerala Blasters FC is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League (ISL). The club was founded on 27 May 2014 and is one of the eleven teams that participated in the inaugural season of the ISL.

The club's home ground is the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi. The stadium has a capacity of 60,000 spectators.

History

Blasters results

Kerala Blasters FC was founded in 2014 by the Indian businessman and philanthropist, C. N. Mohan. The club's first head coach was Steve Coppell.

Kerala Blasters FC made their ISL debut in the 2014 season. They finished the season in third place, behind Chennaiyin FC and ATK.

In the 2015 season, Kerala Blasters FC reached the final of the ISL, but they lost to Chennaiyin FC.

The club has also participated in the AFC Cup, the second-tier continental club competition in Asia. They reached the group stage of the competition in the 2016 season.
