Cage FC was founded in 2020 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out in the lowest division of the Leatherhead and District Sunday Football League, but they have quickly progressed through the divisions.

In the 2021-22 season, Cage FC finished in second place in Division 11, narrowly missing out on promotion. However, they are expected to challenge for promotion in the upcoming season.
