Canton Rangers Football Club is a Welsh football team based in Canton, Cardiff. The club was founded in 2006 and currently plays in the Ardal Leagues South West, which is tier three of the Welsh football pyramid.
History
Canton Rangers was founded in 2006 as Canton Liberal FC. The club initially played in the Cardiff & District League, and won the Premier Division in their first season. They then joined the South Wales Amateur League Division Two, where they were champions in 2014-15. In 2015-16, they joined the newly formed South Wales Alliance League, and were again league champions, gaining promotion to the Premier Division for the 2016-17 season.
In 2019, the club changed its name to Canton Rangers. They have since continued to compete in the Ardal Leagues South West, and have finished in the top half of the table in each of the last three seasons.
Ground
Canton Rangers play their home games at the Pontcanna Playing Fields. The ground has a capacity of 500 spectators.
