History
Christo FC was founded in 1972 by a group of Christian businessmen in Ibadan. The club quickly rose through the ranks of Nigerian football, and in 1981 they won promotion to the Nigerian Premier League.
Christo FC spent two seasons in the Premier League, but were relegated in 1983. The club has since been playing in the lower leagues, but they have always been a competitive side.
Recent seasons
Christo FC finished 10th in the Nigeria National League in the 2021-22 season. They are currently in 7th place in the 2022-23 season.
Stadium
Christo FC plays their home games at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan. The stadium has a capacity of 25,000 spectators.
