About CUNIBURO
CUNIBURO is a football (soccer) team from the Universidad de Chile, located in Santiago, Chile. The team was founded in 1920 and is one of the most successful teams in Chilean football, having won the Primera División championship 29 times.
The team's home stadium is the Estadio Santa Laura-Universidad SEK, which has a capacity of 22,000. CUNIBURO's traditional kit colors are blue and white.
The team's most famous player is Leonel Sánchez, who is considered one of the greatest footballers of all time. Sánchez played for CUNIBURO from 1953 to 1969 and helped the team win five Primera División championships.
