The team was founded in 1895 as Denaby Parish Church. They changed their name to Denaby United in 1898. The club has won the DRSL Premier Division on two occasions, in 1996-97 and 2000-01. They have also reached the FA Cup first round on two occasions, in 1995-96 and 1999-00.
Denaby United First play their home games at Denaby Main Sports & Social Club. The ground has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
