History
E K Thistle Girls FC was founded in 2019 by a group of parents who wanted to provide their daughters with the opportunity to play competitive football. The club started with just one team, the U14s, but has since grown to include two more teams.
The club has been successful in its early years, winning several trophies and medals. In 2022, the U14s won the Scottish Women's Football League U14 League Cup.
Team Details
- U14: This team is for girls born in 2008 or 2009. They train on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the East Kilbride Sports Centre.
- U16: This team is for girls born in 2006 or 2007. They train on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the East Kilbride Sports Centre.
- U9: This team is for girls born in 2014 or 2015. They train on Fridays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the East Kilbride Sports Centre.
