Galaxy Football Club was founded in 2018 by a group of friends who wanted to create a team that would give young footballers in Koforidua the opportunity to play competitive football.
The team has since grown to become one of the top Sunday League teams in Koforidua. They have won the league title twice and have been runners-up three times.

Galaxy Football Club is currently in their third season in the Sunday League. They are currently in second place in the league table, one point behind the leaders.
