There is a gay football team in Farnborough called Farnborough FC Rainbows. The team was founded in 2014 by James Gray, who is a UEFA B and FA Youth Award licensed football coach. Gray is also the coach of the Farnborough FC first team and the University of Surrey ladies' team.
Farnborough FC Rainbows play in the Hampshire Gay Football League, which is a league for gay and inclusive football teams in Hampshire. The team has won the league championship three times, in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
The team also plays in a number of other tournaments, including the Gay Football Supporters Network Cup and the Stonewall Cup. In 2017, Farnborough FC Rainbows reached the final of the Gay Football Supporters Network Cup, but they lost to London Titans.
