Ghetto Sportiff Football School is a non-profit organization based in Nairobi, Kenya that provides football training to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The school was founded in 2007 by former professional footballer Paul Odhiambo. Odhiambo, who grew up in a slum in Nairobi, saw the need for a football program that would give children from poor communities the opportunity to play the game and develop their skills.
The school currently has over 200 students, aged 6 to 18. The students receive training from qualified coaches and have the opportunity to participate in tournaments and matches against other schools.
Achievements
- The school has won several local tournaments, including the Nairobi Ghetto Cup and the Kibera Cup.
- The school has also produced several players who have gone on to play professionally, including Victor Wanyama, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League.
