Great Yarmouth FC has a long and proud history. The club was founded in 1878 and has won numerous trophies over the years, including the Norfolk Senior Cup on 12 occasions.
The club's most successful period was in the 1970s, when they won the Eastern Counties League Premier Division on three occasions. They also reached the first round of the FA Cup in 1974-75, where they lost to Lincoln City.
In recent years, Great Yarmouth FC has struggled to maintain their former levels of success. However, the club is currently undergoing a period of rebuilding and is hoping to return to the top of the Eastern Counties League in the near future.
