History
Hazra Para Team was founded in 1972 by a group of young men from the Hazra Para area of Kolkata. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the Calcutta Football League and won their first title in 1977. They have since won the league a further 10 times, most recently in 2019.
Hazra Para Team is one of the most successful football teams in Kolkata and has produced some of the best players in the country, including Baichung Bhutia and Sunil Chhetri.
Recent Performance
Hazra Para Team had a successful season in 2022-23, finishing third in the Calcutta Football League. They also reached the semi-finals of the Indian Federation Cup.
The team's star player is striker Balwant Singh, who scored 15 goals in the Calcutta Football League this season.
