Inter Yanan FC was founded in 2014 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The team started out in the Plymouth and District Sunday League, but they moved to the Best Accountancy Soccer League 1 in 2016.

The team has been fairly successful in recent years, finishing as runners-up in the Best Accountancy Soccer League 1 in 2021. They are currently in third place in the league, with two games to go.
