Kempa FC is a football (soccer) team from Kalo village in the Rigo district of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The team was founded in 2017 and currently competes in the National Soccer League (NSL), the top tier of football in Papua New Guinea.
Kempa FC has quickly become one of the most successful teams in the NSL, winning the championship in 2019 and 2022. The team is known for its attacking style of play and its passionate fan base.
History
Kempa FC was founded in 2017 by a group of young men from Kalo village. The team quickly rose through the ranks of the local football leagues and made its debut in the NSL in 2018.
In their first season in the NSL, Kempa FC finished in fourth place. The team then went on to win the championship in 2019 and 2022.
