Knighton Park Dynamo Football Club is a football club based in Knighton, Leicester, England. The club was founded in 1978 and currently plays in the Leicestershire Senior League Division 5.

The club's home ground is Knighton Park, which is also home to the Leicester City Council's Knighton Park sports facilities. The ground has two grass pitches, one of which is floodlit, and a changing pavilion.

History

Knighton Park Dynamo was founded in 1978 by a group of local footballers who wanted to create a team for the Knighton area. The club started out in the Leicester Amateur League and quickly progressed through the leagues, eventually reaching the Leicestershire Senior League in 2004.

The club has had a number of successful seasons in recent years, winning the Leicestershire Senior League Division 4 title in 2014 and the Leicestershire Senior League Division 3 title in 2016.

Current Season

Knighton Park Dynamo are currently competing in the Leicestershire Senior League Division 5. The club is currently in 10th place in the league table, with 10 points from 9 games.

Future Plans

Knighton Park Dynamo are looking to continue their progress in the Leicestershire Senior League and eventually reach the Premier Division. The club is also hoping to develop its youth section and provide opportunities for local youngsters to play football.
