Konings Football Club is a Dutch amateur football club based in Eindhoven. The club was founded in 1945 and currently plays in the Tweede Klasse, the seventh tier of Dutch football.
History
Konings Football Club was founded in 1945 by a group of friends who wanted to play football together. The club initially played in the amateur leagues in Eindhoven. In 1975, the club was promoted to the Derde Klasse, the fourth tier of Dutch football. The club remained in the Derde Klasse until 1995, when it was relegated to the Vierde Klasse.
Konings Football Club has never played in the top three tiers of Dutch football. However, the club has won the Tweede Klasse championship on two occasions, in 1978 and 1993.
Stadium
Konings Football Club plays its home matches at the Sportpark Koningsdonk, which is located in Eindhoven. The stadium has a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
